PHILOSOPHY
Recently, the local fisheries industry, which faces various issues such as rising crude oil prices, unstable fish catches, and a shortage of successors (fishing companies are particularly numerous in local areas near fishing ports), is in a much more challenging situation compared to the central markets.
By developing new products in collaboration with local fisheries companies and fishing cooperatives, and exporting them overseas, we can introduce new foreign currency directly into the local areas via our company.
Domestic wholesale alone ultimately leads to competition with other regions within the country, only vying for existing domestic customers, without increasing sales or profits for the entire domestic fisheries industry. In contrast, securing sales through overseas market development ensures a definite increase in domestic sales and profits, leading to significant regional revitalization.
In the future, by increasing the number of export partner countries and the volume of transactions, we aim to contribute to the revitalization of many fishing ports, fishing cooperatives, and fisheries companies not only in Hyogo Prefecture but also throughout Japan.
Three Business Areas
Wholesale Sales to Restaurants, Mail-order Companies, and Food Processing Companies
We engage in wholesale sales by not only sourcing from central markets (such as Toyosu and Osaka Central Wholesale Market) but also directly from fisheries companies and fishing cooperatives across Japan. Our main focus is direct delivery from production areas to restaurants, mail-order companies, and food processing factories.
With strong connections to production areas nationwide, we can secure and process seafood that does not circulate through central market distribution (Toyosu, Osaka Central Market). In some cases, sourcing directly from production areas can be cheaper. Utilizing our experience, we respond to customers on a case-by-case basis, always considering the general consumers who are our customers' end-users.
Consulting Services
In addition to wholesale sales, we utilize our experience in the restaurant industry to offer consulting services, including menu implementation. This allows us to provide comprehensive services from wholesale to menu development, not just "selling" seafood.
Export Business to Overseas Restaurants and Food Processing Companies
We not only procure basic chilled seafood that overseas corporations and restaurants require, but also develop new export products (such as special frozen processed products) in collaboration with fishing cooperatives and fisheries companies. We aim to export innovative seafood products that have not been available before. Especially in overseas markets, which differ from the well-established distribution networks in Japan, we believe that the demand for specially frozen processed products will continue to grow due to considerations of time, transportation costs, and stable supply.
